Strength & Conditioning Coach
Joe has been known to many as a charismatic, detailed, adaptable exercise science professional with experience in sport-specific coaching, motivational speaking and personal fitness training. He demonstrates substantial multi-tasking skills, has the ability to establish strong clientele relationships and exhibits a knack for promoting healthy and successful lifestyles. Joe discovered his passion for exercise science and the study of human movement and function at an early age. Growing up, he was constantly involved in sports such as football, baseball, wrestling, and soccer. That being said, he was always fascinated in finding new ways to push himself to the limit, and discovering new ways to make himself better. After graduating high school, Joe attended the County College of Morris in New Jersey, where he went on to pursue his Associate’s Degree in Exercise Science. Once he completed that, Joe went on to finish his undergraduate Exercise Science degree at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
From there Joe decided to pursue his Master’s degree and went on to graduate with a Master of Science Degree in exercise science, with a specialization in sport and exercise conditioning. During his time in the graduate program at East Stroudsburg University, he was enrolled in classes such as biomechanics of human performance, advanced exercise assessment/programming, advanced physiology and advanced sport nutrition. He was also a member of the Exercise Science Club. While enrolled in the graduate program, Joe worked as the graduate assistant coach for the men’s and women’s soccer teams as well as a variety of both male and female athletes at the Division II level.
In the summer of 2016, Joe was accepted into the strength and conditioning program at Boston College where he interned as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. During his time at Boston College Joe worked with the men’s and women’s basketball teams, men’s and women’s hockey teams, the men’s and women’s soccer teams, as well as the men’s baseball team. He also trained a variety of professional athletes competing in Major League Baseball and the National Hockey League.
Joe’s philosophy as a strength and conditioning coach is to improve the on-field and real life performance of each and every athlete while decreasing the overall risk of injury. He consistently creates an exciting atmosphere that will motivate individuals to perform to the best of their ability while being able to bond with each and every individual inside the facility.
As a coach at Driven Fitness and Performance Joe applies his passion, knowledge and experience to create a training experience that brings out the very best in people. His inspiration
